Our Story
Seat at the Table was born out of more than 15 years of walking with marginalized youth—long before Belize was home.
Eddie and Renata Joseph have served as youth workers, group home staff, foster parents, and mentors across cultures and countries. Again and again, they saw the same truth:
Transformation happens through presence, not programs.
In 2019, the Joseph family moved to Belize. Not to start something new, but to join what God was already doing.

Our Beliefs

JESUS IS SAVIOR
We believe that Jesus is the savior of all nations. We are committed to representing Him in all we do, never expecting people to reject their cultural identity in order to know Him.

A NATION'S RIGHT
We believe in a nation’s right to determine it’s destiny. We are committed to work alongside Belizeans, supporting their dreams for their country, rather than asserting our goals for their development.

AUTHENITC COMMUNITY
We believe in, and value, authentic community. We are committed to living alongside Belizeans; submitting to local leaders and building reciprocal relationships.
