Why Belize?

Belize is a country rich in culture, resilience, and faith. But limited in resources for trauma recovery and youth leadership development.

Unlike North America, ministries in Belize receive little government or institutional funding. Most work is sustained through relationships, partnerships, and global support.

That’s where Seat at the Table comes in.

Who We Serve

Young People & Students
Through school clubs, Bible studies, and mentorship, Eddie walks alongside students navigating faith, identity, and leadership.

Girls in Restoration
Renata serves as Residential Care Manager for a trauma-informed restoration home supporting girls who have experienced sexual exploitation and abuse.

Caregivers & Local Leaders
Training and mentoring Belizean leaders to provide care that is safe, informed, and sustainable.

How We Work

We partner with ministries already serving Belize:

Student Ministry:  Intervarsity/International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IV/ISEF)

Eddie is a staff worker at the University of Belize and supports High School clubs in our area.

Anti- sex traffickingAIM Belize

Renata is the Manager of Residential Care for a  Restoration Home for girls (under 18) who have been rescued out of sex trafficking.

Local Church: Evangelical Bible Church

Leading youth and young adult ministry.

We don’t bring a blueprint.
We bring presence, training, and long-term commitment.

Tropical Green Plants

“Stay with them until the LORD gives them rest, as He has done for you, and until they too have taken possession of the land the LORD your God is giving them.  After that, you may go back and occupy your own land.”
